  • 10:00am-11:00am – Sensory-Friendly (no horns, or loud engines)
  • Marvel-ous Enchanting Events characters – All-American Captain, Wonder Girl & Spider Guy
Location: Children’s Museum of Skagit County – Parking Lot
The Children’s Museum of Skagit County, in partnership with City of Burlington Parks & Rec and Burlington Library, are hosting a free touch-a-truck event on Thursday, August 21, 2025. We look forward to featuring all sorts of vehicles for children and caregivers to explore and interact with. This is still a new event for CMSC the first was held in 2024! **Details coming as they are confirmed!**

  • Want to bring a vehicle?
    • If you are interested in bringing a vehicle to display at this event, please fill out our online vehicle registration form (coming soon for 2025).
      • Vehicles of all types are welcome, including: First Responder (ambulance, fire truck, police car), Construction/Landscaping (dump truck, cement truck, backhoe, front loader), Agriculture (tractors and/or other equipment), Airport Operations, Commercial vehicles, Vintage/Military (Jeep), Recreational (4-wheelers, snowmobiles), and more!
      • Vehicles must be on site by 9:00am and will not be released (except for First Responders) until after the event concludes, beginning around 1:15pm.
      • Owner/operator of the vehicle, or a designated adult, must remain with the vehicle throughout the event.
      • Owner/Operators confirm with their registration that their vehicle is appropriately insured.
      • This event will be held rain or shine
      • Participants are welcome to bring a pop-up tent, tables, chairs, banner and give-away items that are appropriate for children. **PLEASE AVOID PEANUTS due to allergies**
      • All participants are asked to engage in this event by interacting with attendees, remaining at the event until closing and maintaining oversight of your vehicle at all times.
